The giordano's Story — Where It All Began

Giordanos was born from a simple, powerful idea: bring the authentic taste of giordano's Italian cooking to the heart of Orlando. In 1999, our founders — a family deeply rooted in Neapolitan food tradition — opened the doors to what would become one of Florida's most beloved Italian restaurants.

Every recipe at Giordanos traces back to generations of home cooking. Our giordanos pizza — golden, airy, and generously topped — was the dish that first won Orlando's hearts. We hand-stretch every dough, simmer our sauces from scratch, and import select ingredients from Italy to ensure every bite tastes exactly as it should.

From humble beginnings to a full-service Italian restaurant, here is the story of how Giordanos grew into the giordano's dining destination it is today.

1999

The First Oven

Giordanos opens its doors on S Apopka Vineland Rd in Orlando. Our first giordanos pizza comes out of the oven — and it sells out within hours. The community falls in love instantly.

2004

Expanding the Menu

After five years of perfecting our giordano's pizza, we expand into pasta, antipasti, and desserts — bringing the full breadth of Italian cuisine to our loyal guests.

2010

Award-Winning Recognition

Giordanos receives the Orlando Dining Excellence Award. Our giordanos pizza is named one of the top 10 pizzas in Florida by a regional food magazine.

2015

Catering & Events Launch

We launch our full catering service, bringing the authentic giordano's experience to weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across Central Florida.

2020

Online Ordering & Delivery

Giordanos launches online ordering to serve our community better. Our giordanos dishes now reach guests at home, bringing restaurant-quality Italian food to every doorstep.
